You knew Kanye West was gonna show up at some point this summer to peacock about gaining the unequivocal upper hand in his long-running standoff with Taylor Swift. Indeed, his moment of triumph was duly celebrated last night, with a hometown cameo at the Chicago stop of Drake’s Summer Sixteen tour. His Yeeziness came out during “Pop Style” to do his half of the Throne’s guest verse, and he stuck around to deliver his victory speech: “All I gotta say is, I am so glad my wife has Snapchat. ‘Cause now y’all can know the truth. And can’t nobody talk s**t about ‘Ye no more!!”
Naturally, Kanye then launched into the chorus to “Famous,” leading a crowd singalong for That Line — c’mon everybody, you know the words!! — and then segueing into “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1.” Watch fan-shot video of the evening’s various magic moments below.
