Jeremih and Pusha T Get ‘Paid’ on Latest Song From Nas’ Upcoming Film

Pusha T and Jeremih’s “Paid,” the latest cut off the soundtrack for The Land, is the brighter juxtaposition to yesterday’s morose Nas and Erykah Badu collaboration “This Bitter Land.” Over Sunday morning piano chords, Jeremih joyfully pulls off hook duty while Pusha T rejoices about working his way up from being knee deep in snow: “It’s a race to the finish line / ‘Til all my homies eating like it’s dinner time.”

The Land, a drama executive-produced by Nas, has a soundtrack that features underground favorites (Fashawn, Ezzy) as well as stars like Kanye West and Nas himself. The soundtrack officially drops via Mass Appeal Records tomorrow, but NPR has a stream of the album — which, of course, includes “Paid.” Listen to the album in its entirety here and get “Paid” below.
