Supergroup Prophets of Rage Announce Massive U.S. Tour

Prophets of Rage were out of luck when Governor’s Ball canceled the festival’s final day because of weather concerns. Like Vic Mensa and Courtney Barnett, who booked pop-up shows last night, the supergroup — comprised of Rage Against the Machine members, Public Enemy’s Chuck D, and Cypress Hill’s B-Real — decided to do a last-minute concert at Brooklyn’s Warsaw.

Prophets of Rage will soon make their way to stages across the nation. After their live debut last week in Los Angeles, the rebellious veterans will go on a U.S. tour starting July 19 at Cleveland’s Republican National Convention. The 35-date trip — including a return to Brooklyn to play the Barclays Center on August 27 — will last through October. Give the tour dates a look below.
