Musical guest DJ Shadow was joined by Run the Jewels on last night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, performing their collaboration “Nobody Speak” with a live horn section. (Perhaps the legendary DJ alone would not have produced enough action for the cameras.) Run the Jewels also became the latest musicians to pay tribute to victims of this weekend’s mass shooting at a gay club in Orlando, with El-P displaying a rainbow-striped heart tucked inside his jacket at the end of the performance.
“Nobody Speak” is sure to be a highlight of DJ Shadow’s forthcoming album, The Mountain Will Fall, out June 24 from Mass Appeal. Watch the Tonight Show performance below.
