Pet Shop Boys Soundtrack a Hard Luck Father’s Day in ‘Twenty-something’ Video

“Twenty-something,” a cut from Pet Shop Boys’ newest album Super, gets its own music video today. The visual tells a story familiar to many other twenty-somethings: job hunting while there’s a lack of available (legal) jobs. Here, a father — a gang member — struggles to find employment. Meanwhile, the woman in his life is expecting another child. Like the song that soundtracks the strife, it’s a pretty gloomy situation.

In addition to today’s video, Pet Shop Boys have announced they’re going on a fall tour. The U.S. leg starts on October 21 at Las Vegas’ Chelsea at The Metropolitan. Pre-sale tickets will be available on May 12, while general sales begin the next day. Check out the full list of tour dates here.
