Neon Indian Give Prince’s ‘Pop Life’ a Shot

The original gem is from 1985's 'Around the World in a Day'

Of course the reaction to Madonna’s Billboard Music Awards performance isn’t going to stop the stream of Prince tributes that’s sure to continue throughout the year. The latest is from the synthpop outfit Neon Indian, who filmed themselves covering “Pop Life,” a top-ten hit single from Prince’s 1985 LP Around the World in a Day. The clip is basically a lighthearted jam session that includes musician friends from across the United States. Watch the joy unfold below, via Pitchfork.
