After releasing “Sink Like a Stone,” the title track to her upcoming EP, Swedish/Barbadian pop singer Naomi Pilgirm is back with the similarly heavy-hearted “I Wonder.” This time, Pilgrim is lamenting an unfurling relationship, singing “I dance around it / I don’t know how your stomach turns / You give a smile / Watch your wishes stay unheard” over rumbling synth-pop reminiscent of the icy sonics of CHVRCHES and Kate Boy.
