This June, Wolf Parade co-founder Spencer Krug will team up for the second time (under his Moonface alias) with Finnish band Siinai, for the collaborative album My Best Human Face. Today, the combined outfit share the LP’s second advance cut, “Them Call Themselves Old Punks,” a six-minute jam of slow-building synth-and-guitar majesty. The song climaxes with its action-packed chorus, in which Krug isolates the titular group, who “call themselves non-material,” dramatically declaring “There’s nothing punk about that.”
