Is Courtney Love finally reuniting the classic Hole lineup? On Friday, Love posted an Instagram selfie with bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur and drummer Patty Schemel. Together, they comprise three-fourths of the post-Live Through This band that recorded 1998’s Celebrity Skin.

“With the girls, serving up a Hole lot of something,” she teased in the caption. “maybe 💖😄.” Guitarist Eric Erlandson doesn’t appear in the picture, but Love tagged his name in the lower left corner anyway. The singer clearly has history on her mind: her prior Instagram post was a “Flashback Friday” photo from her 1999 Glastonbury Festival performance.

A classic Hole reunion appeared imminent in 2014, but Love was quickly forced to backtrack when it turned out the rest of the group wasn’t on board after all. Are things different this time around? You’ll have to judge for yourself.
