Adele had a surprise in store for viewers of tonight’s Billboard Music Awards: new visuals for her 25 single “Send My Love (To Your New Lover).” The video works with a simple concept: multiple, semi-transparent images of Adele singing and dancing in an elegant Dolce & Gabbana gown covered in oversize roses.
The new clip was directed by Patrick Daughters, who’s directed videos for a host of bands. Two of his other memorable projects: the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ “Maps” and Feist’s “1234.” Watch the new clip for “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” below.
