The long-awaited Grateful Dead tribute album, Day of the Dead, comes out in a little more than a month, and today the National — who are curating the project — have shared another track. This time, the band supports Christopher Bear and Daniel Rossen of the Brooklyn art-rock group Grizzly Bear to tackle the Dead’s “Terrapin Station.” The track is described as the “most musically elaborate” song on the entire record. Josh Kaufman, Conrad Doucette, S? Percussion, and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus also pitched in. Listen below, and look for Day of the Dead on May 20.
