Supergroup Gone Is Gone Release Slamming First Song, ‘Violescent’

Gone Is Gone — the recently announced supergroup featuring Mastodon‘s Troy Sanders, Queens of the Stone Age‘s Troy VanLeeuwen, and At the Drive-In‘s Tony Hajjar — have unleashed “Violescent,” the first song from their upcoming self-titled EP. It debuted on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show today, and is stuffed with sludgy guitars and restless trills.

The self-titled Gone Is Gone EP is out July 8 from Rise Records. Check out “Violescent” and the EP track list below.
