Chance the Rapper Rides Chicago’s L Train in His New ‘Angels’ Video

Chance the Rapper has unveiled a new video for “Angels,” his 2015 song featuring Saba. In the clip, Chance is an angel, descending onto the Chicago skyline from on high, alighting on the roof of the L train, and riding around the Loop. Angels, by the way, wear full-body jumpsuits, goggles, winter gloves (it’s cold up there!), and a lapel badge emblazoned with the city flag.

Why the Convention & Tourism Bureau vibes? It could be that Chance’s dad, Ken Bennett, is mayor Rahm Emmanuel’s deputy chief of staff — or it could have something to do with the rapper’s rumored deal to become the official ambassador of the Chicago White Sox baseball team. Watch below.
