Yep, Bob Dylan Went and Recorded a Second Full Album of Frank Sinatra Covers

Bob Dylan has shared the first track off of his second full-length album of covers of Frank Sinatra songs. Does the world really need two whole records of the Bard covering the Chairman of the Board? Probably not, but last year’s Shadows of the Night was a pretty, fitting tribute, and our first listen of the forthcoming Fallen Angels sounds similarly melodic and downcast. Sinatra recorded “Melancholy Mood” in 1939 with Harry James and his orchestra, and you can listen to Dylan’s take below, along with the full track list for the sophomore tribute LP. Fallen Angels comes out on May 20 via Columbia.
