Kendrick Lamar was in Manchester to attend a workshop for budding rappers that was sponsored by Reebok, but the To Pimp a Butterfly genius elevated the appearance beyond a mere corporate shilling. Lamar, who looked to be having a genuinely good time surrounded by young fans and aspiring rappers, did a couple of freestyles and entered a rap battle with some of the kids in attendance. And although he was very nice about it, and everyone looked like they were having a ball, Lamar handily won the duel — you know, because he’s arguably the best rapper alive today. Watch below.
