Bat for Lashes Worships at a Neon-Lit Cross in Video for ‘In God’s House’

After sharing new dirge — sorry, wedding song — “In God’s House” last week (following thematically consistent first single “I Do”), Bat for Lashes has released a captivating visual for the cut off of her forthcoming album The Bride, out July 1. The clips sees Natasha Khan kneeling in a fur coat and red veil at a light bulb-decorated cross, wandering down a dirt path in heels, and sitting against an eerily lit car, in what looks to be the Badlands of South Dakota. With the wind whipping her hair in such a desolate landscape, it’s a scenario that wouldn’t be out of place in Fargo. Watch the video below.
