R&B singer-songwriter Tinashe is all set to embark on her Joyride world tour at the end of the week, but in the meantime, she’s just released a cover of Tom Tom Club’s “Genius of Love” for a new Target commercial. Sampled on Mariah Carey’s iconic “Fantasy,” “Genius of Love” has been remade by DJ Cassidy for the big box store’s upcoming spring campaign, “Around Town, Target Style.”
