Natalie La Rose’s ‘Rollercoaster’ Is Disappointingly Paint-By-Numbers Pop

Dutch pop star Natalie La Rose has had a pretty remarkable string of success quite early in her career. Last year saw the rise and success of her Jeremih single, “Somebody,” which was followed in short order by a Max Martin single (“Around the World”) and a U.S. tour opening for Epic artists Fifth Harmony. Last month, she hopped on a scorching Tiësto and Oliver Heldens track, “The Right Song,” and today — surprise, surprise — she’s back with a new single of her own.

“Rollercoaster” is, sadly, a disappointingly paint-by-numbers Flo Rida duet, though La Rose’s always spot-on vocals lift it slightly above the dregs of its outdated, EDM-lite styling. Download “Rollercoaster” for free here and hear it in full below.
