Miguel, ever the consummate performer, celebrated the 35 years since Michael Jackson won his first Grammy for 1979’s Off the Wall with by covering his ballad “She’s Out of My Life.” It’s a sweet and all-too-short, but the 2015 SPIN cover star gives the Weeknd — the only other serious contemporary contender for the King of Pop’s still-vacant throne — a run (nay, sprint) for his money.
