Because there’s no piece of pop culture that can’t be mined for every last bit of nostalgia, leaving our fond memories of the original bruised and bloody, there’s now a Full House sequel. The Netflix series, Fuller House, is reportedly god-awful, having been described as “a porn parody without the porn” and “a Potemkin village,” but there’s one, singular good thing to come out of it: Carly Rae Jepsen’s take on the theme song, “Everywhere You Look.” Recorded with Butch Walker, Jepsen’s delightful cover is another reminder that she is a treasure who deserves better than the world gives her. Listen to the theme below, and watch Fuller House on Netflix this Friday if you hate yourself.
