Adele, Like Most Musicians, Won’t Give Donald Trump Permission to Play Her Music at Rallies
Azealia Banks being the one exception, presumably
Record-setting singer Adele has joined the lengthy list of musicians who won’t allow Republican presidential candidate and human Cheeto Donald J. Trump to play her music at campaign events. “Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning,” a spokesperson for the 25 singer told The Independent after fans complained that the Donald kept blaring “Rolling in the Deep” at rallies. The paper also notes that Trump is apparently an Adele fan, having gone to her concert in New York last year. Def Leppard, Neil Young, Morrisseey, and R.E.M. have also said less-than-kind things about the host of The Celebrity Apprentice 2. Oh well, Donald. At least you’ve still got Azealia Banks.
