Adele Closes the 2016 BRIT Awards With a Glittering Performance of ‘When We Were Young’

Adele closed out the 2016 BRIT Awards with a show-stopping performance of “When We Were Young,” which came as a triumph after her best effort at the 2016 Grammy Awards was marred by technical issues.

Over the course of the night, the singer took home a total of four awards: BRITs Global Success, Female Solo Artist, Single of the Year for “Hello,” and Album of the Year for 25. Adele’s repeated acceptance speeches included a number of memorable moments, including publicly announcing support for Kesha, crying from happiness, and dropping an F-bomb.
