Tacocat, the spunky Seattle foursome who released one of SPIN’s favorite albums of 2014, NVM, have announced their upcoming third album. Lost Time, the palindromic group’s second LP on Hardly Art, is set for an April 1 release date. The band was fairly tight-lipped about the record when SPIN spoke to them in October, but now they’ve shared the blasphemous lead single — “I Hate the Weekend.” The bright surf-punk track isn’t exactly a slam on Saturday and Sunday, but rather the working stiffs who go wild on their days off and ruin it for the rest of us.
