This Saturday, Austin City Limits will have a packed lineup with old and new guests; Sleater-Kinney will be performing for the first time on the PBS program, while Heartless Bastards will return to the show after six years. The rampaging entrants in SPIN‘s list of 50 Best Rock Bands Right Now performed “Price Tag,” the first track off their most recent album, No Cities to Love. The warning howls of Corin Tucker, paired with her quick riffs, give the song a dark and ominous feel. Austin natives Heartless Bastards performed “Gates of Dawn” off of their album Restless Ones, which starts off slow but steady and takes off after the bridge with a perfectly-timed key change.
