G.o.D. Jewels Builds Quite the C.V. on ‘Resumé’

Los Angeles-based, Chicago-schooled rapper G.o.D. Jewels‘ forthcoming debut LP may be called Go On Dreaming (yes, G.o.D. for short), but so far the ambitious MC has been doing more than fantasizing — or at least making more productive career moves than the subject of the album’s twilit first single, “Lord Disick.” For “Resumé,” the second listen off of G.o.D., Jewels enlists Mano, producer of the Weeknd’s “The Hills,” and a member of Windy City rap collective Treated Crew along with recent G.O.O.D. Music signee HXLT.

“I’ll just quit my job and put finessin’ on my resumé,” he spits over an icy drum roll in front of rows and rows of Porches at a car dealership in the track’s granular black-and-white video, directed by Nick Visuals. It’s all about creative visualization, right? Watch the clip here and keep an eye out for Go On Dreaming‘s arrival in the near future.
