Last fall, Beach Boy Brian Wilson was announced as a 2016 Levitation Festival performer, with plans set to play the classic, hugely acclaimed 1966 album Pet Sounds in full. Now Wilson has announced a full 50th anniversary tour of Pet Sounds that’ll take him across the world throughout much of this year. Kicking off in Auckland, Australia on March 26, the itinerary also finds Wilson in cities such as Tokyo, London, Philadelphia, and more.
“It’s really been a trip to sit here and think about releasing Pet Sounds 50 years ago,” says Wilson. “I love performing this album with my band and look forward to playing it for fans all across the world.”
