Lip Sync Battle, the TV show on Spike that’s exactly what it sounds like, kicked off its second season with aplomb last night, when the always enthusiastic Magic Mike XXL actor Channing Tatum faced off against his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum in a singalong duel for the ages. Jenna started things off by performing the character Mike’s on-screen routine for Ginuwine’s “Pony” before being blown out of the water. C-Tates, wearing full drag, climbed down from an epic steed to perform Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls),” nailing every dance move. The exuberant, amazing experience was made even better when Queen Bey herself joined Tatum for the track’s insurmountable climax. Incidentally, because she was lip syncing, this appearance technically continued Beyoncé’s trend of making media appearances without speaking a single word. Watch below.
