Baauer Raves Up Shlohmo’s ‘Ten Days of Falling’

Henry Laufer, aka Shlohmo, released his album Dark Red last April, and now the Los Angeles native is streaming an EP of remixes featuring work from the experimental LP. Among the reworked tracks is the eerie “Ten Days of Falling,” which now has a quicker, clubbier sound courtesy of trap’n’bass producer Baauer. The original “Ten Days of Falling” was always something of a chilling sonic spine-tingler, but with Baauer’s skittering percussion and an R&B-flecked vocal sample, the remix has more than earned its place on the (haunted) rave floor.
