After leading a life so badass many thought he would never die (or at least play Glastonbury for another ten years), Motörhead’s Lemmy, a.k.a. bassist and singer Ian Fraser Kilmister, has died at age 70. Shocked, saddened, and spurred to remember trying to keep up during late nights with one of rock’s godheads, members of the music world took to Twitter to express their condolences. Don’t fear the reaper, Lemmy.
Lost one of my best friends, Lemmy, today. He will be sadly missed. He was a warrior and a legend. I will see you on the other side.
