Kelela’s gorgeous R&B trap-estry, the Hallucinogen EP, is one of SPIN‘s 50 Best Albums of 2015, and it’s about to get even better: The Los Angeles singer announced that a collection of reworks, Hallucinogen Remixes, would arrive on Christmas Day as a gift to her fans.
Featuring footwork master DJ Spinn TekLife and baile funkster MC Bin Laden, among others, the five-track effort sees Kelela “galvanizing the global avant-garde to reimagine the EP as a continent-spanning sonic carnival,” as described on her SoundCloud.
