Country singer-songwriter turned barrier-breaker Kacey Musgraves put out one of 2015’s 50 Best Albums, Pageant Material, and now the Nashville-based star’s visited Daytrotter for a three-song live session comprised entirely of tracks off of her new LP. Kicking things off with a dreamy, strumming version of album-opener “High Time” before segueing into the title track and its most quietly beautiful number, “Fine,” Musgraves presents the best reason to kick back and listen while pretending that you’re working fastidiously.
