Blood Orange has announced another unexpected collaborative tape, this time with Nelly Furtado. The two — who may have met while working on David Byrne’s musical color guard show, Contemporary Color — teamed up for Hadron Collider. Copies will only be available only at Dev Hynes’ Blood Orange and Friends shows this weekend at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, he revealed on his Instagram, along with the hint: “Maybe she’s in town & we can play it live…” Unfortunately, both shows are sold out, so no chance of getting your hands on those tapes, either.
