Kendrick Lamar caught some flak from an angry wedding guest last month, perhaps because the To Pimp a Butterfly rapper was crashing the wedding.
Footage obtained by TMZ shows Lamar strolling onto a dance floor at a wedding in Columbus, Ohio, last month and starting to move it to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” A man can be seen questioning Lamar and his crew, asking them, “You guys are in this party? Who got married?” Lamar, of course, didn’t know. Things get pretty heated until somebody eventually explains who their uninvited guest is.
The lesson here is that if you’re going to show up uninvited at a wedding (i.e., an immensely personal, important, and usually expensive occasion for a couple in love) make sure you’re a celebrity, because then everything is okay.
