Poor Justin Bieber — just after releasing his big comeback album, he gets gunned down in the street. Or at least, that’s what happens in the just-released trailer for the long-awaited sequel to 2001’s Zoolander. The preview reveals the plot of Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson’s second outings as the dumb-but-pretty models Derek Zoolander and Hansel; somebody is targeting all the world’s most beautiful people, and it’s up to our heroes to stop them. We see Bieber put up a valiant, acrobatic effort to defend himself, but it’s no use. He dies with Zoolander’s signature look on his face, joining, we later learn, Demi Lovato, Usher, Lenny Kravitz, and Miley Cyrus as victims of this assassination plot. Can Hansel and Zoolander save the beautiful people of pop from a similar fate? We’ll find out when Zoolander 2 hits theaters on February 12 of next year.
