Coldplay Bring ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’ to the American Music Awards
The band's first performance at the AMAs since 2008
In their first performance at the American Music Awards since 2008 — and presumably their last ever, assuming they make good on their word to hang it up after the upcoming A Head Full of Dreams LP — Coldplay performed their most recent single, the disco-pop jam “Adventure of a Lifetime.” It was a typically spirited and prismatic performance from the quartet, and frontman Chris Martin ended it by dancing with a bunch of gorillas, sure. (Norman Reedus of The Walking Dead called it “fun,” though it’s hard to trust that guy’s barometer on such matters.) Watch here.
