Bon Iver Announce 2016 Tour
Further refuting the rumors of a hiatus, they'll head to Asia early next year
Earlier this summer, in the lead up to their appearance at bandleader Justin Vernon’s Eaux Claires Music Festival, rumors abounded that Bon Iver might be taking a break. Vernon immediately hushed those suggestions, and to further refute any questions about his project’s future, he announced a 2016 tour last night. The dates will take place in various countries across Asia starting February 21 in South Korea. “We’re going because we’ve never been,” Vernon tweeted excitedly. There’s no word yet if more dates will be announced or if this anticipates any further action from the band, who haven’t released an album since 2011’s Bon Iver, Bon Iver. Check out the dates here.
