Adele is currently in the process of selling more records in one week just to your immediate family than most artists will to the whole world in their entire lives. To celebrate the occasion, she graced the stage of Saturday Night Live with her humbly regal presence, performing zero Motley Crue covers but offering two songs off her new album, “Hello” and “When We Were Young.” Adele was also at the center of a Thanksgiving skit in which the only thing that prevents a family from tearing each other apart over politics and prejudice is putting on her CD. Sounds about right.
Watch the two performances and the skit here, and buy another couple copies of 25 by the end of the weekend, why not? It’s history, dammit.
