Shamir Joined Years & Years to Perform ‘Real’ in the U.K.

During British synth-pop trio Years & Years’ show at the O2 Academy Brixton last night, the group was joined by one of 2015’s biggest musical stars (and their concert opener) Shamir for a performance of the Communion cut “Real.” Olly Alexander’s vocals proved a nice counterpart to Shamir’s delicately pitched take on the verses — “You’re just my type / What’s a boy to do?” the Las Vegas native sang, filling each word with a sneer.
