DJDS Announce New Album, ‘Stand Up and Speak,’ Share Title Track

It's out on January 29

Following their stellar new track “In the Flames” and their equally great remix of “Hotline Bling” sample star Timmy Thomas’ “Why Can’t We Live Together,” Los Angeles’ freshest house revivalists DJDS are back with a new song and — even bigger — an album announcement. The duo of Jerome LOL and Samo Sound Boy have shared the title track from their sophomore LP, Stand Up and Speak, out January 29 via their own imprint/collective Body High and Loma Vista.

“Stand Up and Speak,” which can be heard here, opens with ping-ponging percussion and a gently struck xylophone. “Good things are coming to an end,” sings the soulful vocalist, his voice gently catching on one of the verses as he stifles a laugh. Find the full album track list below and then the duo’s upcoming tour dates.
