The Radio Dept. Share Blustery, Lo-Fi Single ‘This Repeated Sodomy’

The Radio Dept. released Occupied an EP of blissful dance-y variations on their somber nostalgia-pop back in June, but the Swedish recluses are already back with new music in the form of the gusty “This Repeated Sodomy.” Per Johan Angergård of Labrador Records, this track won’t appear on the band’s long in-progress fourth LP, but it’s still a moving number in its own right.

Like the band’s earliest guitar-driven work this one builds a fuzzed out guitar bluster into a delicate swoon — so there’s sonic chaos and romantic confusion and queer heartache all in one two minute ballad. Listen here.
