Kylesa Head Out on a Stoned ‘Night Drive’ on New Single

Their seventh studio LP 'Exhausting Fire' is out October 2

Savannah, Georgia trio Kylesa have been trawling through rock’s grimy underbelly for over a decade now, and they’ll return with even more on October 2 when they’ll release their seventh full-length Exhausting Fire. Today, they’re sharing “Night Drive,” the latest blunted single from that record, which bears resemblance to the Chromatics album of the same name only in its creeping atmosphere. Vocalists Phillip Cope and Laura Pleasants trade dead-eyed verses over a billowing haze of blow-out guitar leads, like Southern Rock left out to rot, then resurrected right at full moon.

Listen to “Night Drive” here alongside a slate of upcoming tour dates.
