BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge series has gifted many gloriously unexpected covers, studio sessions, and interviews, but its most recent session with Florence and the Machine is one of its most special. Pitchfork points out that the singer stopped by for performances of How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful songs “Ship to Wreck,” “What Kind of Man,” “Queen of Peace,” “Delilah,” and her Calvin Harris collaboration “Sweet Nothing.” And then, as if it couldn’t get any better, she swept with a stirring, epic cover of Jack Ü’s “Where Are Ü Now.” Listen to the whole thing here.
