In town to promote his forthcoming debut album, Dopamine, Børns stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge today to perform original material, plus a cover of the Weeknd’s ubiquitous hit “I Can’t Feel My Face.”
Substantially stripping down Abel Tesfaye’s club-pop anthem, the California-based Garrett Borns sat with two backup musicians from his ensemble. From there, the three quietly revamped their chosen tune to sound soft, synthy, and soulful. Watch below, and look out for Dopamine on October 16.
