As a preview of the BBC’s Live Lounge Month, Børns dropped by the station for a jam-packed session that included cuts from his upcoming debut album and a cover too.
Kicking things off with “Electric Love” from last year’s stellar Candy EP, the Cali-based crooner showed off the high-pitched howls (a cover of “It’s My Party,” a staple in his live sets) and versatile control over his range (“Emerald Pools” and “Past Lives”) that’ll surely make Dopamine one of the year’s coolest pop releases.
