Lowell and Icona Pop Break the Speed Limit, Give Zero F—ks on ‘Ride’

Toronto pop singer Lowell teamed up with Swedish electropop rabble-rousers Icona Pop for a rambunctious new single dedicated to rebellion and the open road. According to Fader, which premiered the track, “Ride” is inspired by Adeline and Agusta Van Buren, the first women to ride across these great United States on motorcycles. With brash lyrics, an opening that conveys shades of M.I.A.-like wonkiness, and a blistering, speeding-ticket worthy beat once it really gets going, “Ride” is a fun, IDGAFOS anthem. Stream it here.
