It’s the stuff of music industry legend that Suge Knight once threatened Eazy-E when he wanted him to give up claim to former N.W.A. member’s Dr. Dre’s contract, a move, as Stereogum points out, that later allowed Dre and Knight to form Death Row Records. The new N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton even contains a scene depicting this exact circumstance.

Now, though, Yung Eazy, one of Eazy’s sons, is claiming that Knight went so far as to have his late father injected with an AIDS-infected needle. Taking to Instagram, Yung Eazy posted a clip of Knight in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, where he’s laughing about the idea of murdering people that way.

Yung, though, makes it clear that he believes Knight is actually guilty of such a crime, pointing out that his dad didn’t get sick “until after the studio incident with suge and look how he acknowledged & admits on this interview with #JimmyKimmel injecting ppl instead of shooting them is a new thing that’s done.”

This rumor is hardly new. Stereogum and Vibe both point out that Wish Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony recently said in an interview that he does not believe that Eazy, who died in 1995, contracted AIDS on his own.
