Watch Sam Smith Cover ‘Tears Dry On Their Own’ and ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’

Sam Smith performed at France’s Mainsquare Festival earlier this month, where he provided two covers: the late Amy Winehouse‘s 2006 single “Tears Dry On Their Own” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” which — trivia time — was initially recorded in 1967 by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, but enjoyed a popular resurgence in 1970 when Diana Ross sang it (and let’s face it, that’s probably the version you know).
