Sam Smith performed at France’s Mainsquare Festival earlier this month, where he provided two covers: the late Amy Winehouse‘s 2006 single “Tears Dry On Their Own” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” which — trivia time — was initially recorded in 1967 by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, but enjoyed a popular resurgence in 1970 when Diana Ross sang it (and let’s face it, that’s probably the version you know). Now Smith’s added himself to that impressive list. Check it out below.
