Public Enemy Share Powerful Video for ‘Man Plans God Laughs’

Yesterday, Public Enemy dropped their 13th album, Man Plans God Laughs, and they wasted no time sharing a music video for the title track. The “Man Plans God Laughs” short follows a young child as he grows up and tries to stay on the straight path amidst temptations to fight and to give into other people’s base expectations for him. It’s a pretty powerful statement that’s shot largely in crisp black and white, much like recent videos from Kendrick Lamar and Run the Jewels, who both inspired the LP, according to Chuck D. Watch it on YouTube.
