Obnox is the recording project of Cleveland songwriter Lamont “Bim” Thomas. He’s one of those insanely prolific punk types, casually launching off dozens of garage-y, fuzzed-out tracks every year. To that point, today he’s announcing his third full-length release of the year, titled Wiglet, and shared the first single from that release, “Look to the Sun.” Like the title suggests, and like the rest of Thomas’ catalog, this one lives at the eyeball-destroying intersection of needle-ripping blues and sludgy garage-punk.
