New Order Share Lead Single ‘Restless’ From Upcoming Album

This September, post-punk greats New Order will release Music Complete, the band’s tenth full-length album and first-ever LP without co-founding bassist Peter Hook. Today, they have shared the set’s first single: “Restless,” a breezy (but not lightweight) synth-rock jam with excellent guitar interplay, over which frontman Bernard Sumner pontificates about the burden of material pursuits (“What can you buy that lifts a heavy heart up to the sky?”) Listen here.
